International specialized exhibition for high cross-country ability transportation means CROSS-COUNTRY VEHICLE

The long-awaited launch of Cross-country Vehicle exhibition was held on the eve of the Defenders of the Motherland Day, in February 2012. The show attracted all admirers of off-road cars, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles and other motor-vehicles, avid fans of traveling in wilderness conditions, active leisure and captivating journeys with the family.
The organizers of the event were Crocus Expo IEC in partnership with a well-known Club 4x4 magazine. The General information partners of the show were Avtoradio radio station, Avto Plus TV channel, Avtopanorama magazine and Business World Internet portal.
The 1st international exhibition for high cross-country ability transportation means presented full range of four-wheel drive vehicles which had found long ago popularity at fans of active and extreme leisure, and also at all who encounter one of the main Russian problems quite often.
The event presented full range of off-road vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, cross-country vehicles (including track-type), bigfoots, towers and other machinery used for industrial purposes and active leisure. There were also exhibited various kinds of travel trailers, mobile homes and camper trailers, trailers for cars, adaptive driving devices, additional equipment for fastening and transportation of various cargoes and special machinery, and also accompanying goods for extreme tourism.
Nussan Centre Kuntsevo, Nissan official dealer, presented off-road vehicles Nissan X-trail and Nissan Pathfinder equipped with a unique technology of ALL-MODE 4x4.
Korporatsiya Zaschita, one of the leaders of the Russian market of special and armored vehicles, presented two novelties: Scorpion-2M and Scorpion-LPA.
Exposition of Club 4x4 magazine became the highlight of the show due to exhibited fully equipped Land Cruiser 76 with a captivating aerography. There were also displayed the results of 4x4 tuning centre work - motorcycles Rokon Trial-Breaker and UTV Polaris RZR XP 900. Anybody had an opportunity to receive advises related to "iron horse" equipping for long-way journeys.
Soliton NPP has amazed imagination of the audience with their all-wheel drive car Ratibot - with such a road clearance a small river stops being an obstacle! Jeep owners appreciated highly "Wood Goblin Claw" - a universal claw crab lug.
The official dealer of Toyota Motor, Toyota Center Kuntsevo, presented Land Cruiser Prado and a new generation of legendary Land Cruiser: Land Cruiser 200 version carries on the traditions of predecessors.
Cross-country vehicles fr om Transmash factory and OOO Spetstekh were demonstrated for the first time in action. GAZ Group presented to the spectators two snow and swamp vehicles - GAZ-3351 and GAZ-3409. ECOTRANS delivered from Tumen Petrovich cross-country vehicles on tires of ultralow pressure. Also a cross-country vehicle on tires of ultralow pressure was exposed by TREKOL company.
OAO CHETRA presented two eleven ton giants - Chetra ??140. The vehicle is operated in the conditions of full impassability, on swamps and dirt roads during bad road conditions. Ability to float that allows easily overcome water barriers serve as indispensable feature of cross-country vehicles Chetra ??140.
Test drives initiated and organized by many exhibitors were the highlight of the show! Special tracks were arranged in the outdoor areas adjoining to Crocus Expo IEC pavilions: a track of artificial obstacles for off-road vehicles and a snow track for heavy caterpillar and wheel vehicles.
Test drives on cross-country vehicle TREKOL, a safe and comfortable vehicle on tires of ultralow pressure, caused special delights at the visitors. The vehicle makes impassable earlier regions of Russia, wh ere there are no roads but directions, accessible.
Besides TREKOL is safe for a weak ground coats that allows to use cross-country vehicles in the conditions of tundra or desert.
