C-GRID®, Product of the Future, at Big 5 Construction Show in Dubai

C-GRID® is a high-performance reinforcement produced by Chomarat, made by bonding ultra high-strength carbon tow with epoxy resin. It enables precast constructions to be thinner, lighter, more durable and less costly overall than conventional precast and other building systems. C-GRID® carbon grids will be presented for the first time at the Big 5 Building and Construction Show in Dubai, at the booth of its partner and exclusive distributor B&R Building Materials (stand number MEC H147). This show is the largest platform for the construction community to share, source and learn about the most innovative solutions for the concrete industry.

An efficient material for innovative, greener concrete building solutions

C-GRID® carbon fiber grid offers a unique solution for the concrete builder: "For architectural cladding or insulated wall panels, precast concrete is improved by integrating ultra-strong, non-corrosive C-GRID® into the wall panel during fabrication. Taking the place of steel reinforcement, C-GRID® is a real enabling technology, providing better factory-made precast concrete elements" explains John Leatham, CHOMARAT North America, Sales and Marketing Director.
