FARREL POMINI to Display Compact Processor with New Featres at NPE

JANUARY 27, 2015 ANSONIA, Connecticut USA - FARREL POMINI is a global leader in the research, design and manufacturing of compounding systems for the plastics industry FARREL POMINI covers an extensive range of processing applications. The technology has proven performance processing polyolefin based compounds with high levels of mineral fillers, additives and color masterbatches, polymer-elastomer blends and applications requiring high intensity mixing while maintaining low processing temperature.
FARREL POMINI will exhibit a CP1000, the mid-sized processor of the CP Series II™ Compact Processor line of equipment. The Compact Processor is a highly productive compounder designed specifically for top quality dispersion of highly filled, highly pigmented materials. It contains an independently controlled continuous mixer and an extruder system.
The Compact Processor is able to process highly abrasive materials outperforming other processors. It is designed to incorporate various types of feeding systems and pellet formation components for versatility making its applications virtually unlimited.
The CP1000 on exhibit contains new features, available on new machines and as retro-fits:
- The patent-pending Self Aligning Seal (SAS) offers faster installation, improved powder seal performance and longer seal life than standard seals
- The Synergy Control System, a complete automation and control system that seamlessly integrates upstream and downstream equipment across a variety of suppliers standardizing processing lines while increasing operational agility and equipment safety. Synergy provides real-time data for mid-process adjustments to enhance productivity and product quality and can be monitored for remote troubleshooting leading to optimized productivity
- New design Vent Assembly, improving vent performance and minimizing vent discharge, giving improved product quality and reducing waste
FARREL POMINI's driving force is EFFICIENCY. The efficiency elements of their equipment include energy efficiency, processing efficiency and maintenance efficiency differentiating FARREL POMINI in the marketplace.
Principle products include Continuous Mixers, Compact Processors, Melt Pumps and Underwater Pelletizers.
FARREL POMINI is the business unit of HF MIXING GROUP. Principle locations include the Unites States, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Singapore. Laboratory Demonstration Facilities are located in the United States and United Kingdom. The Research & Development Facility is in the United States.
